La Llotja is one of those iconic buildings of Barcelona that maintain their majesty in each of its rooms. We have done many events in there and the truth is that despite having a very distinctive style it’s very chameleonic, all kind of furniture feels good in there.
This time we prepared a corporate event, it was a Cocktail dinner in its main hall , the Contractacions room . This room has a black and white argyle ground , and although it seems hard to know what to put in it the reality is that we can play with many styles of furniture. In this event , we combined high wooden elongated tables with the industrial TOLIX stools and lower tables with tablecloth of stone colour and Napoleon chairs ( with of a baroque style) in black color.
In the courtyard they decided to put a small chill out with white sofas, poufs and tables. A simple set up in terms of furniture but very sophisticated as it exalted the elegance of venue . We put candles, cushions and rugs to make the environment cozier despite the nuclear white furniture .
And the Llotja , again , leaves us speechless .
