Betweens ruins: “El Mercat del Born”

“El Born” is one of the most emblematic neighborhoods in Barcelona. It’s a place full of charm, style and ambience. One of the most famous and interesting buildings is its market, “El mercat del Born”, where we can find archaelogical remains of Middle Ages in perfect conditions.

Two weeks ago we had the chance to celebrate in this building of wrought iron a enormous cocktail for 800 people. It was a pleasure to decorate the venue as our furniture fit perfectly with the market style.

Between the ruins there were our tables and buffets of wood and iron. We opted for barrels as high tables and we played with the atrezzo in order to create a cozy ambience. There were lots of candles and lanterns and also wooden boxes. The entrance was incredible, it had two anormous cages made of iron and also a shleve with lavanda and cypress balls.

And the result was a success. With [Sibaris](http://www.sibariscatering.com) catereer, the client was delighted with such a different event in a very cosmopolitan city.
