Every September when we arrive from holidays there are the most importants decoration fairs in Frankfurt, Paris and Milan.

They are spaces full oll inspiration ans freshness, of innovative ideas and impossible decorations. As they are referents around the world in decoration trends they are essential fairs.

If we had to choose one word to describe all that we saw we would say: colonial. And what does it mean? It means that the new style is based in solid wood like teak, iroco and oak combined with black methal. They look for retro and warm enviroments mixing both natural materials and recycled ones as kraft paper, raffia and rattan.

We also want to give a special importance to the bronze. It can go alone, mixed with black, with silver or gold. We can see this material in small elements such as lamps, candelabras, tart bases… but it is also important in low tables and pufs.

Another trend is about chandelier lamps with a baroque inspiration as well as bird cages for floral material. The candle its also important and we also find mini clay pots and the light and fire of hearthes like this one.

But don’t worry vintage lovers, this style is still very alive, we don’t forget recycled furniture, powdered wood, the mixed of different chair and the forging of different colours with old aspect.
