Why an afterwedding?

One of the latest trends in weddings is not just enjoy a day but an entire weekend. There are a lot of people who get married outside the city, in a cottage or farmhouse and as we have to go to a few kilometers from home it is a good idea to enjoy the wedding day and to celebrate the following day an afterwedding with friends and relatives.

Today we want to present you a cool afterwedding organized by the amazing wedding planners Madera&Chocolate. This couple lived in Switzerland and they came to BArcelona to get married. They day after the wedding they decided to meet in Masia Rosàs a beautiful fifteenth-century farmhouse that has been celebrating events and wedding for more than 20 years.

For those who don’t know the house, there is a space called english garden of 2.000m2. And this were the scenary of the big set up, where lots of wooden tables with benches in a picnic format created the main structure. Everything had a fresh air, with a lot of green, flowers that hanged from structures above the tables, different areas of a coloured chill out, and some kioscs full of flowers and delicious food from the Sibaris catereer.

The porch was also a a main area, as it was August it wasn’t a bad idea to protect yourself from the sun that shone brightly. As they wanted to stick out the colours and the summer, they decided to put “toile de jouy” white and red tableclothes and a chill out with wooden and “tricote” pufs and coloured industrial stools.
